It’s an A’s World!

20’somethings of June’08, I see a guy: Spiky, nice built and handsome handmany, with an “eh??” look (-> ) on his face. He makes me wonder “Dude!!! What’s on HIS mind?”

Well the place was Infosys Mysore, and the guy was none other than apna ‘Dodo’, ‘Dumble-dore’ (complete gym-lover), Mera Laal, ‘Adroit’ ||A||! (Yes! I will definitely sign his NDA after this post.) As it’s his Birthday today, I would like to dedicate him my webspace.(Yeah yeah.. I am sugary sweet!)   

Mr. A, he is r/w protected, can’t read/write anything.. Naeh! Too lazy for that, but always found singing Punjabi numbers, a complete bouncer for a non-punjju like me, but he keeps up the singing! Grrrr!

A chalta-firtaYM smilie!! Can make all those funny faces in one go! ROFL yes!  

A complete kiddo at chirpy times but a wise decision maker when it comes to life! Can effortlessly work his charms over girls. Hence, best described by me as a ‘Chronic Heartbreaker!’! One look he throws… and girls go head over heels after him. As if their souls are just tasered to the core!! I still wonder what’s wrong with all of ‘em? Okay! Belay my Last!!

Being silly together I’ve known his motto of life is definitely not to grow old with each passing day.. But to stay young (like a kid) deep down..!

Also we both are Effervescent! Completely!! Alien-talks (difficult even for us to make out what we are babbling about?) and all the detailed analysis that we do (making the best utilization of our office hours).. He has some stupidest AJs to add up every time, that are surprisingly witty enough and I too don’t come any odder! That’s when we go loco with each other.

1. ||A|| doesn’t actually look after good-looking girls. He prefers neat and presentable girls. (ahem ahem!! neat.. are you sure? neat???)

2. Guys hate flirts.  (and ||A||?? likes flirts?? {Publicly declared affections!!!})

3. When ||A|| says he doesn’t understand you, it simply means you’re not thinking the way he is. (so don’t think if he understands you or not! )

 Yesterday I was going through a quiz viz. “Which type of Woman are you?”

After a quick answer session the result popped up:

My biggest strength is to keep wondering about myself 24X7! I’m forever and ever ready to shoot my opinions, whether raised or not! And as far as others are concerned, I give them no chance to cheat on me, but I can swear to swindle! Mind-games, Anybody? <Rolling eyes>

Of Confessions and more..

Oodles of thought over petty matters occupied me lately. Some undertakings, obligatory and inevitable both captured me instantaneously. As I sit to pen down today after so long, what can be more candid then my late realizations?  

My last few speeches, being acutely low context, were damn offensive, nay, no regrets.

Why is everyone moved by the wunderkinds? ‘Success’ is the most hackneyed word!

On a sober thought, although being an UPite (belonging from Uttar Pradesh), I never went for Kumbh ka Mela (Kumbh Festival).

My picture of a snap-gal is still incomplete! (I wanted to be clicked with LonelyPlanetImages)

Nevertheless, am still yearning for a new D90, the very first item of my To-buy list over past 2 years!

My dream place to photograph would be Paris? Spain? Cape Town, South Africa? Or it’s still out of this world!

But my dream place to shop is definitely Milan!

Why everyone needs a Future plan? I don’t know! I never wanted to be an SE and still I am, for months and for a year now!

Learning law as fun, but no Lawyers!

Year 08-09 ended with a lot of seen unseen changes in me. (Most cherished year till date)

I realized my biggest crush was actually love and lost it too.

My effortless moving-on time reduced to one single day!    

No episodic dreams over past 6 months or more. Change is dramatic indeed.

Regarding Money management am certainly not one of the wise decision makers.

It tickles while incubating the idea of opening a seafood terrace-restaurant by the beach-side.

It was astonishing to know that the (only) girl (in this world), my identical twin in thinking had undergone through the same series of mutations as I did. How can there be so much resemblance? Do Parallel lives exist?

My itchy feet still fancy a world stroll.

What is so funny about don’t-ask-don’t-tell jokes?

Guys can never express their love to the girl they really love.

I certainly am the Teenybopper of a seasoned age!

Look-Some One!

Last week I got a compliment.. Weird one indeed..  “Hey you look like Bipasha!”

“Who me? You got to be kidding me!” well actually, my misunderstood quote was: Does that mean I can get ‘John’? *Sigh* *Sigh*

“Yeah, You!  She has got pretty similar features like yours! Beautiful indeed!”

“Beauty, Me, and Bipasha??” .. ah certainly not.. I’m still the wide-eyed girl with a big chubby nose! Or rather, an elongated nose-bone!

But does this count? Is Beauty everything a lady desires? Ah! Well a guy might answer this better!  

Lately, I was chatting with one of my friends, who effortlessly tries to keep himself away from anything that has even slightest closeness to what we call “GIRLs”. Well, Instead of violating his privacy policy I would prefer to call ‘um Mr HIM!

“One of my friend is going to be hooked up with a Russian Lass soon!” while revealing a friend’s latest involvement!

“Cool! Lucky one!” Mr. HIM got li’l moved!

“Ain’t enough!! He himself thinks all of ‘em are too Booty-full with no brains!”

“That’s what makes them perfect”, he marked the statement here!

“Typical guy!!” ignoring the statuary saying!

“After all an Earthling!” as he elucidates the Hookup-theory more, “Two dumb can be together! One dumb and one smart can be together! But two smart? NO!! Simply NO!”

“And so you think you are smart?”

“I am dumb!”

“Ow how smart!!” I laughed at this irony!

“But I don’t take the odds of being with smart one! For smart ones realize soon about others dumbness. Unlike people of my kind.”

How elegant was that!! It took me no time to take in this cranial piece of thought!!  Well, truly enough, Superstar good looks are always welcome and even the most ‘no women’ men can’t resist that kind of beauty.

A recent article on much babbled ‘Beauty and Brains’ read:

Shhh and look pretty: First impressions aside, frankly just good looks can last you only till the first date, at the most. Unless of course, the guy is very clear about what he wants! But most men do get a little put off after a while, with someone who’s a disher but can’t make a sensible conversation.

Brainy no lookers: Hmm, now that sounds like a real challenge, at least till the point that your guy knows that you are super sharp. A smart sense of humor can sometimes replace good looks, but well, not always. But recent research suggests that men would rather prefer to spend time with a woman who’s not so great looking but can make great conversation.

Seven months ago I met an ol’ friend! He being a shy-guy at school, we never uttered. Thereafter he grew up as my senior at college, and we got acquaintance of each other’s being! Having same taste in food and beverages’, we happen to share a common liking too! Later on he got graduated and moved to Pune for his job. Twas here that we bumped again, when I got posted to the same. We met after almost 2 and a half years and it felt like family! I don’t know the precise moment when our amity took shape back at college. But I do remember that rollick-some roll which cling us together; shopping whole heartily till our piggy banks cracked; hip hopping to all possible bistros and eateries in search of the yummiest food in town; flipping time at Barista in rating day-to-day’s singers, yesterday’s food and the future of our college tribes. Getting along after so long, one thing still stayed put was our complete kiddo nature. We continued our randomness by melting with icey creams at kulfi parlors and taking long moonlight strolls discussing our lives, waving pasts with a smile(no regrets), rejoicing present(staying smug) and dreaming of a long awaited future(hopes on)!

But as all is flux; nothing stays still. While we flattered ourselves that things remain the same, they were changing under our very eyes from day to day, from hour to hour.

In the haze of such exuberance, I soon realized that twas time for him to Quit, Pack and Move!

Though knowing the fact that he eventually will; I was pretty cool with the whole scenario mentally and prepared myself for the day! In no time the moment banged; the entire day went without an err. I didn’t lose my buoyancy until he left. Rite within an hr it sinked in me as the train vacated the station with a vacuity in my heart! The complete feeling lasted in a gloom!

As I come to the end of my rope, all I do is… tie a knot and hang on. It’s been past 8 days, and I’m still counting what I lost! Sometimes I just gawk at his name on my communicator, in anticipation it might blink; but soon realizing it will never go green! At other times I feel that he will be back, a li’l far though.. but yeah he will be! But in next to no time I find that its still hard to delude oneself.. more than ever when you know that some part of your memories is lost for sure, and also the same is over too by this entitled movement!

All m left these days is a wish that we will be back with the same spirit and with the same silliness someday, And a hope that the time shouldn’t put down a matured impact on us. :s

Some memories are simply beautiful. Some are really special. And there are some moments that you really cherish for the rest of your life.
I am leaving with a mixed bag of emotions. On one hand, there is the joy of stepping into a new phase of life and on the other; I will be leaving behind a lot of amazing friends and happy times.
